Qualified signature:
It is the signature that uses a digital certificate issued by a certification authority accredited by the Brazilian Public Key Infrastructure (ICP-Brasil).
This is the most secure form of electronic signature and has legal validity equivalent to that of a handwritten signature.
Law 14,063/2020 also establishes that digitized documents have the same legal validity as original physical documents, as long as the integrity, authenticity and confidentiality requirements established in the legislation are observed during the digitization process.
ArqSign is an electronic signature platform that offers the costa rica mobile database possibility of signing documents electronically (advanced signature) and digitally (qualified signature) .
When sending the document for signature, the sender can choose whether the recipient should sign electronically or digitally.
If the requested signature is digital, that is, a qualified signature, when signing the document, the signatory selects the desired digital certificate.
The platform then validates and applies the signature, generating a record proving authorship and integrity.
If the requested signature is electronic, that is, an advanced signature, at the time of signing the document, the ArqSign platform applies a digital certificate from the Platform.
This is to guarantee the integrity of the document, authorship of the signature and also captures acceptance between the parties for electronic signature.
