Nacho Bermón graduated in Business Administration and has specialized in digital marketing, so it is not surprising that he has combined his knowledge to start and launch his own digital project, Nomadart, an e-commerce where you can rent works of art for the home and office. We tell you the details of his story in the following interview.
You graduated in business management and administration but soon began training in digital marketing. How did your interest in the online world arise?
Exactly, I have always had the desire to start and create my own company. That is russia consumer mobile number list why I decided to study Business Administration, which gives you a very good aerial view of the aspects that you must take into account for the daily, short- and long-term management of a company. When I was finishing my degree, it coincided with the boom in digital transformation. I saw businesses creating their corporate websites or e-commerce to sell their products online, and although at that time I was still somewhat reluctant to believe that electronic commerce would attract so many audiences, little by little I realized the great alternative that this type of commerce offered. It caught my attention so much that I decided to focus on digital marketing and online sales strategies.
In 2013 you started working as a marketing assistant at La Casa de los Cuadros. What did you learn in this position?
Well, I learned a lot, honestly. I graduated and it was my father, who has a family framing company that has been around for over 60 years, who suggested that I create an e-commerce site from scratch for his business, in a sector that, to be honest, didn't have much of a foothold in the digital world. It caught my attention so much that I spent over a year and a half creating the whole project from scratch, obtaining very good results, which was very gratifying. During that stage, I learned aspects that were so unusual for me, such as product photography, graphic design, CMS management, content marketing... by taking short courses while we were advancing on the project, and although I wasn't yet academically trained in this sense, I liked it so much that it ended up opening my eyes. Digital marketing would be what I would focus on from that moment on.
Then you moved to London for a while. Why did you make this decision and what did you gain from the experience?
Basically because I felt the need to see the world, to live in a big capital and yes… to learn English, haha. The experience was highly enriching. I worked in a famous restaurant chain in London for almost two years. I met people from all over the world, open minds who lived day to day and improved based on life experiences. I think that during that time I took advantage of the opportunity to learn a lot about everything, although I never lost my vision and dedicated part of my time to creating a Lifestyle Blog called Okaymood, which allowed me to fully enter the world of content, which I believe is extremely important for any digital business that wants to prosper.
