Confidence is an important part of marketing. But it is not the only one.

In sales, when you assume closing, you enter every conversation with the assumption that your prospect will inevitably buy your product. You can do the same with your website.

Many marketers believe that "assuming closure" is an overdose of confidence and overconfidence. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Instead, assuming closure means believing that you have done the research necessary to present your target client with an offer they can't refuse. This has nothing to do with you and everything to do with the prospect.

Go back to your buyer personas. What do you know about each member of your target audience? What makes them unique?

Review any data you've collected over the years. Look at purchasing patterns, seasonality, CTA copy, and other variables that may impact conversions.

If you're armed with enough knowledge, you can take a stand. Create exit popups with the assumption that more people will convert than not.

16. Use a compelling call to action
The call to action (CTA) is perhaps the most important part of any exit intent popup. Without a call to action , your visitors won't know what to do next.

A call to action statement defines exactly what you want the visitor to do after reading your copy. You will use different CTAs depending on what action you want them to take.

Below are some common calls to action that will help encourage people to sign up for your email list using a lead magnet:

You can see that this is all written in the first person. You don't have to do it that way, but it can make the copy feel more intimate.

What if you're asking people to buy your most popular product? Your call to action might look something like this:

Yes, I want 15% off new shoes!
Buy
Check out our selection of shoes
Don't try to be clever here. You don't want to confuse your reader or leave any doubt about what you're asking visitors to do.

Ideally, your call to action will be on a button. You've seen them all whatsapp number philippines over the internet.

A button creates an almost tactile experience between a visitor and your site. A button may be two-dimensional, but it feels more intuitive than simply clicking on a text link.

17. Conducting the competition
People love winning things. But they also love the anticipation of winning. That's why people buy lottery tickets despite the extremely low probability of winning the coveted jackpot.

The exit popup creates the perfect opportunity to run a contest for your target audience.

What you may not know is that the winners aren't the only ones who matter in a contest. People who are n't winners may realize how much they want your product or service and buy it as soon as you announce the winners.

This is great advertising, it attracts visitors to your site and gives people a reason to come back to your site.

The contest can be as simple as a prize draw, such as pulling names out of a hat, or you can ask for user-generated content related to your products or services. Alternatively, consider asking people to name your next product.

Any contest will do. Just make sure you are clear about how participants can enter and what they will win if they are successful.
