Regulations to regulate non-labor practices in companies

Companies may offer unemployed young people without work experience the possibility of doing internships within their organisation. Under no circumstances will the completion of these internships imply that there is an employment relationship between the company and the person doing them.
In order to be able to offer these internships, interested companies must sign an agreement with the Public Employment Services. This agreement must reflect the specific content of the bulgaria email list internships to be carried out; their duration; the working day and hours in which they will be carried out; the centre or centres where they will be carried out; the establishment of a tutoring system and the certification that the people who have carried them out will obtain.
Who are these practices aimed at?
Unemployed young people aged 18 to 25 who are registered at the employment office and have an official university degree, intermediate or advanced vocational training, or a qualification of the same level as the latter, or a professional certificate, may apply for these internships .
In order to carry out these internships, young people cannot have had an employment relationship or other type of professional experience of more than three months in the same activity. It should be noted that, for these purposes, internships that form part of the curricula for obtaining the aforementioned qualifications or certificates will not be counted.
Internship conditions
These practices will be carried out in the companies' work centres. In addition, the company will have to assign a person from its organisation to direct and supervise their implementation. Their duration may vary between three and nine months and, upon completion, the corresponding certificate will be issued. This certificate must state the practice that has been carried out, what its training content was, its duration and the period of completion.
As regards remuneration, interns will receive a grant from the company, the amount of which will be at least 80% of the current monthly IPREM. These people will also be covered by Social Security as regulated by Royal Decree 1493/2011 , of 24 October.
According to the latter, the participants in these practices will pay Social Security contributions for common and professional contingencies . Said contribution will be carried out by applying the rules corresponding to the contracts for training and apprenticeship established in the respective General State Budget Law and in its application and development regulations. There will be no obligation to contribute for the contingency of unemployment, nor to the Salary Guarantee Fund or for professional training.
