How to optimize Google My Business profiles 10x faster with Localo (Surfer Local)?

Post by mstlucky8072 »

To find the answer to the above questions, you must first do one very important thing. This is a thorough and in-depth analysis of your company profile and your competitors. Then you can compare the results, draw conclusions and use them to optimize your company profile.

Unfortunately, no article will do it for you. Nor will the people on these groups (at least not for free).

I bet you won't get any substantive answers, just very general tips like:

get reviews (ok, but how many?)
add photos (but still if I already have 50 of them?)
add a company description (ok, but should I pay attention to something when creating it?)
Annoying, right?

So how can you use Localo to climb to the top of local results? Optimize only the elements that really need it and not waste time on activities that are currently unnecessary?

You'll find out soon!

(at the very end there are also 2 examples of how users optimized their companies and positioned them in TOP 3 positions in 3 and 10 days thanks to Localo)

First, add your business to Localo (formerly Surfer Local)
You can’t make a plan for something that doesn’t exist. So the first step after logging in is to add a business profile to Localo. Simply click “add a place” and add your business.

You can import it from your Google account or manually enter the name as it appears in your Google My Business profile.

Choose the perfect keyword with Localo
At this stage, you need to decide what keywords you want your business to appear for on Google.

Before you start typing a phrase, answer these questions:

Is this keyword being typed by potential customers looking for your services?
Is it searched for frequently by these people (monthly)?
Does it appear in local search results alongside your competitors?
If you are already sure that your main keyword is e.g. dentist gdańsk - enter it in Localo.

If you fill in the field in your keyword, we will analyze it for you and tell you:

Do users type this word into Google and how often per month?
Are there other similar keywords and how often are they searched for monthly?

See, this way you found out that users enter the password dentist gdańsk more often than stomatologist gdańsk .

What should you do at this point? First of all, choose a keyword that best suits your business and is most searched for.

In this example, you should choose a word that is equally relevant but more frequently searched for - dentist gdańsk.

Set key parameters before clicking Create Query

Once you have chosen the perfect keyword for your business, you should also set:

The area where Localo will check your company's position - you have a slider for this.
How dense you want your grid to be - click on the appropriate grid size from 3x3 to 9x9.
If needed, move the grid in any direction - simply grab the grid and move it.

You can also generate an audit without checking the company's position in multiple points on the map. Simply click Audit next to the grid size selection.

Once everything is ready, click Create Request and wait about 10 seconds

Check company positions and find quick wins in regions that matter to you

You should now see a grid showing your company's positions in multiple points at once.

What can you do?

analyze the position of your company in different regions
filter the map by your company's position and the competitiveness of the area
share a position report with a client or colleague
compare current position reports with historical ones
check the weaknesses of the competition (e.g. no phone number, verified owner, etc.)
You can also generate a ready-made action plan for your company.

This will save you at least a few hours that you would have to spend on manual competitor analysis.

All audits are sorted by relevance, so you don't have to think about which audit to create. Simply click Create Audit on one of the audits in the Recommended Audits section.

Done, now you can attack the current best area for your business and achieve the highest possible growth in the shortest time possible!

Of course, you can also hover over a specific pin/area on the map to generate an audit at that specific location.
