Skills like sewing and cooking are not just about clothing and putting food on the table, but about independence and pride. They are examples of how micro-economies can grow and inspire people to dream big. Through my work and studies, I have seen that technology, when used consciously and with understanding, can change communities for the better. Projects like WordPress can be part of this dynamic, through localization and the software itself, which allows ideas to be shared.”
