By using visual content you create personality, distinction and give your story extra power. But use good quality images instead of stock photos or poor quality images. Hire a designer if you do not have the skills yourself.


A good image says more than a thousand words. A frequently heard statement, especially in this digital age. A strong image creates emotion and connection. The story of your organization comes across even better, because people want to know what happens behind the scenes. So show this by giving them a look behind the scenes and thus telling your story.

4. Use your fans
If you don't have the resources or time to create unique visual content yourself, you can always call on your fans. Encourage them to develop and share visualizations. This can be done by setting up a campaign, for example. You not only provide visual content, but you also involve the fans in your organization.

5. Use words for support
Visual storytelling does not mean that you should no longer use text. A combination of both is certainly an option. Remember that text is there to support. An image that needs (a lot of) explanation is new zealand phone data not effective.

6. Use different platforms
In addition to Facebook and Twitter, there are several social media platforms that you can use to share visual content.
