Relevance: How relevant is your content to the user?

sting button sizes and colors is of course a good place to start. But at some point you've tested it out. That's why it's important to set up an A/B test with a substantiated hypothesis. A hypothesis is an assumption about how you think you can solve a conversion problem. I use the LIFT model as a source of inspiration for formulating hypotheses. LIFT stands for Landingpage influence Function for tests. This model uses the following conversion factors to formulate a test hypothesis:
Value proposition: what are the benefits of your product/service for the user?
Clarity: Are you communicating one message through your content?
Distractions: What content distracts from the ultimate goal?
Uncertainties: What content can make the user uncertain?
Urgency: Are you communicating through your call-to-actions that the user needs to take action now?
Practical example
I have performed this analysis for my iceland phone data homepage. Which conversion factors can I better capitalize on?
Value proposition: what are the actual benefits of my training for the user?
Uncertainties: How does the user know that I am a good/reliable Google Analytics trainer?
Urgency: What action should the user actually take on my site?
Example analysis conversion factors
Use feedback from your user
This is of course my analysis. Much better is of course to ask your user for feedback. What tools can you use to get this feedback.
