Start by making a wish list of influencers. Who is at the top of your industry? Start with the names you know. Whose blogs do you and your audience read? Whose YouTube videos stand out from your crowd? Are there any well-known writers in your field? Who speaks or draws crowds at industry events?

At this point, you’re developing a wish list. Go country email list ahead—go crazy. Who would you like to say something nice on behalf of your company, or at least retweet a review to draw attention to your marketing efforts?



Refine your wish list. If you consider your category as business or even business accounting, that's a pretty big field. Sure, there are all kinds of business leaders with million-selling books, but how likely are you to get their attention?
