Latest issue Vol.21 on sale September 30th

Post by ayshakhatun3113 »

This issue features a special article entitled "The Possibility of a New Thinking on Japan" on Japan-China relations, where no clues for improvement are in sight despite the 35th anniversary of the Treaty of Peace and Friendship between Japan and China. "New Thinking on Japan" by former People's Daily editorial writer Ma Licheng, whose Japanese translation was published in four parts in the World Weekly (Jiji Press) from January 2003, had a great impact on Japan at the time. However, the possibility of a breakthrough in Japan-China relations that was implied in the article has dwindled rather than expanded. Now, 10 years later, we will once again shed light on "New Thinking on Japan" and explore whether there is a way to break through in Japan-China relations.
The special feature is "Ripples from the remove background image US Shale Revolution." We approach "shale gas," which may be able to solve energy security, economic growth, and global warming prevention all at once, from a diplomatic perspective.

What is the diplomacy magazine "Diplomacy"?
What path should Japan take in this turbulent international situation? Based on the current global situation, and with information and analysis from domestic and international experts and specialists, we provide a forum for discussion to examine from multiple angles, historical perspectives, and medium- to long-term perspectives the course Japan should take and the role it should play.
Promoting diplomacy requires the understanding and trust of the entire public regarding the international situation and foreign policy, not just politicians and a select few experts. To that end, we explain the importance, background, and complexity of diplomacy in an easy-to-understand way.
