Families are the emotional anchor for many people and the foundation of society, and they are also a place where people can develop a love for nature and people. As a company that supports homebuilding through a stable supply of electricity, we are continuing to accept submissions on this theme, hoping that people will start thinking about the global environment from the perspective of "family." Last year's winners of the Excellence Award were filled with the joy of being together again after a long time, and the feelings they have for each other in their large families. Please send us a scene that conveys kindness, warm feelings, and strong bonds for family members.

Irago Triathlon Tournament. Following the advice remove background image of a senior who told me that "there is drama at the finish line," I set up my tripod in the front row and waited two hours beforehand. Then, the children immediately jumped onto the course, saying, "It's Dad." Following suit, the mother also joined the course, and it was moving to see the whole family finish the race with smiles on their faces.
Judges' evaluation
The three winning works were: the Excellence Award, which depicts a lively and fun scene of three children with their father and mother crossing the finish line together; "Laughter," which conveys the energetic family atmosphere from its overflowing smiles; and "First Meeting," which features the impressive serious gaze of the older brother. They all convey the bond between family members.

In selecting works, we value elements such as energy, happiness, warmth, and smiles. The Excellence Award winner captured a happy scene of the whole family finishing the triathlon together with the father, who participated in the event, and the happy expressions on each member's faces were impressive. The two Honorable Mention works were also heartwarming works that conveyed happiness.

Our mission is to supply electricity that is stable, environmentally friendly, and economical. Toward the realization of a low-carbon society, we are promoting the stable operation of nuclear power plants, the high efficiency of thermal power generation, and the use of renewable energy, and last year we started construction of a large-scale lithium-ion battery evaluation test site. We are also further expanding the activities of the TEPCO Nature School, which aims to provide environmental education and nature experiences.
