Impressions and Clicks on Google Search Console

Post by ahbappy250 »

This is a great complement to the Google Analytics organic traffic report we just talked about.

This Search Console report essentially shows you how many people VIEWED your site and how many of those people CLICKED to your site.

Total Clicks vs. Impressions
As you can imagine, the more people who view and click on your site from Google, the better.

Leads and Sales
In other words: is this influx of traffic db telegram actually increasing profits?

This is a question that many people overlook, but if you want to get a huge ROI from SEO, you need to know if all those new visitors are converting into customers.

There are a million ways to track this. My favorite is Google Analytics Goals , which is what we use here to see which pages are generating the most email subscribers.

Bonus Step 1: Increase Your CTR
It's no secret that Google uses CTR in its algorithm : several studies have in fact found a correlation between "expected CTR" and Google rankings.

This is because a high CTR tells Google that your page is the one that users are searching for, so the search engine will boost your page's ranking to make it easier for people to find.

Here are some simple ways to get more clicks:

Use emotional title tags – in other words, attention-grabbing titles .
Use short, descriptive URLs: These are great for general SEO but most importantly, they help your page appear searchable on Google.
Take advantage of rich snippets: like stars, they help your site stand out in the SERPs .
Create compelling meta descriptions: Your meta description should “sell” your page.
