Huawei Technologies Co said on March 31 that its global sales revenue rose 19 percent year on year to 858.8 billion yuan ($121 billion) in 2019 despite U.S. government restrictions.
But as the novel coronavirus pandemic continues to spread and as Washington reportedly tries to further rein in Huawei, the Chinese tech giant has warned of problems awaiting its business.
Xu Zhijun, Huawei's rotating chairman, said: "Despite enormous external pressure, we have moved forward with a strong focus on creating value for customers. We have worked hard to earn their respect and trust, as well as the trust of our partners around the world. The business remains solid."
Huawei's Profit

The Chinese company will also face challenges because it remains on the U.S. government's "entity list," which prohibits Huawei from accessing any American technology without special government permission.
